Who we are
VoxDash operates a platform for publishing and analysing survey and polling data. Outreach about the platform is sent from joinvoxdash.com. [Add registered entity name, postal address, and contact email.]
What data we hold, and where it came from
If we contacted you, we hold a small amount of information about you in your professional capacity: your name, your work email address, your institution or organisation, your stated research area, and a link to the public page the details were taken from.
We collect this from publicly available professional sources — such as institutional staff pages, public research profiles, and published papers — where the address was published in a professional context. We do not buy contact lists, and we do not guess or generate email addresses.
Why we process it
To contact researchers and research organisations about a tool relevant to their work. Where GDPR applies we rely on legitimate interests; you can object at any time and we will stop. Where other rules apply, we rely on the equivalent basis for business-to-business contact about a professional matter.
How to stop hearing from us
Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or simply reply and ask. Opt-outs are permanent and apply across all VoxDash sending domains, not just the one that contacted you. We keep a record of the opt-out itself — stored as an irreversible cryptographic fingerprint of the address rather than the address — so we can keep honouring it after deleting the rest.
Retention
Contact details and the evidence of where they were published are kept while the contact is active and for a limited period afterwards, then deleted. Opt-out records are kept permanently, because they are the only way to guarantee we do not contact you again.
Your rights
- Ask what we hold about you, and get a copy.
- Have it corrected, or deleted.
- Object to it being processed — including for outreach.
- Complain to your local data protection authority.

Tracking
Our research outreach does not use open tracking or click tracking. This website does not set analytics or advertising cookies.
